The Creative Curriculum System for Preschool also includes links to music and movement, supports social-emotional development, develops vocabulary, emphasizes phonological awareness, and teaches math through toys and games.  The complete system addresses these ten areas of early childhood development:

We are currently making renovations in order to open our 3-4 year-old classroom (Kinder 1) next fall, and will continue to grow each year.  Check out our website for our Early Childhood Center, phase 1 of our project, at

Our Early Childhood Center opened February 1, 2014, serving children aged 45 days - 3 years.  We have chosen to begin our program using The Creative Curriculum System for Preschool due to its close alignment with the IB curricular framework.  It is based on a studies approach method.  It integrates content learning through students’ in-depth investigation of a child-appropriate, meaningful topic. Children are encouraged to inquire into a topic, and find answers to their own questions through firsthand explorations and extended discussions.  The program develops student confidence, creativity and critical thinking skills.
